VAE’s “Artreach Project” welcomes Mallory Rich to Taconic Spine, 3505 Richville Road Manchester Center,Vermont.
The paintings in this exhibit are the result of the artist’s time on Nova Scotia in 2015. After a particularly long winter in Vermont, Mallory Rich and her photographer friend, Martha Folsom, spent the month of May circumnavigating the island of Nova Scotia in search of seafood, sea air and the sound of the ocean. Mallory Bratton Rich is a self-taught artist from Sandgate, Vermont, who began painting late in life and who pursues her new passion every day. Her work has received recognition and awards throughout New England. Artreach brings art to the people with gallery exhibits in non traditional places such as backyards, businesses, post offices and waiting rooms.
